이 메카 수라는 이전 수라의 연속으로 여겨집니다. 주된 내용은 메카의 이교도들이 코끼리 부대로부터 카바를 구원해 주신 알라께만 감사하고 헌신해야 한다는 것입니다. 알라께 불충하고 무력한 자들에게 무정한 자들은 다음 수라에서 비판받습니다. 가장 자비로우시고 가장 자애로우신 알라의 이름으로.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

알라께서 메카인들에게 베푸신 위대한 은혜

1. 꾸라이쉬를 늘 안전하게 하신 은혜를 위하여— 2. 즉, 겨울과 여름에 그들의 무역 캐러밴이 안전하게 된 것— 3. 그들은 이 (성스러운) 집의 주님을 숭배하게 하라. 4. 굶주림으로부터 그들을 먹이셨으며 두려움으로부터 그들을 안전하게 하셨노라.
لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ
١
إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ
٢
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ
٣
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ

Surah Quraysh, verse 1

لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ
꾸라이쉬를 늘 안전하게 하신 은혜를 위하여—

Surah Quraysh, verse 2

إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ
즉, 겨울과 여름에 그들의 무역 캐러밴이 안전하게 된 것—

Surah Quraysh, verse 3

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ
그들은 이 (성스러운) 집의 주님을 숭배하게 하라.

Surah Quraysh, verse 4

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ
굶주림으로부터 그들을 먹이셨으며 두려움으로부터 그들을 안전하게 하셨노라.
