Quraysh (Surah 106)
Quraysh (The People of Quraysh)
Introduction
This Meccan sûrah is viewed as a continuation of the previous one. The general idea is that the Meccan pagans must be grateful and devoted to Allah alone for saving the Ka’bah from the Army of the Elephant. Those who are unfaithful to Allah and unkind to the helpless are criticized in the next sûrah. In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
