Introduction

இந்த மக்கீ அத்தியாயம் முந்தைய அத்தியாயத்தின் தொடர்ச்சியாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது. யானைப் படையிடமிருந்து கஃபாவைக் காத்ததற்காக, மக்காவின் இணைவைப்பவர்கள் அல்லாஹ் ஒருவனுக்கே நன்றி செலுத்தி, அவனுக்கே அடிபணிய வேண்டும் என்பதே இதன் பொதுவான கருத்தாகும். அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு நன்றி கெட்டவர்களும், ஆதரவற்றவர்களுக்கு இரக்கம் காட்டாதவர்களும் அடுத்த அத்தியாயத்தில் கண்டிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். அல்லாஹ்வின் திருப்பெயரால் – அளவற்ற அருளாளன், நிகரற்ற அன்புடையோன்.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

அல்லாஹ்வின் பெரும் அருட்கொடை மக்காவாசிகளுக்கு

1. குறைஷியரைப் பழக்கப்படுத்தியதற்காக— 2. குளிர்காலத்திலும், கோடைகாலத்திலும் அவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக வியாபாரப் பயணம் செய்வதற்காக— 3. இந்த புனித ஆலயத்தின் இறைவனை அவர்கள் வணங்கட்டும். 4. அவர்களுக்குப் பசிக்கு உணவளித்து, பயத்திலிருந்து அபயமளித்தவன்.
لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ
١
إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ
٢
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ
٣
ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ

Surah Quraysh, verse 1

لِإِيلَـٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ
குறைஷியரைப் பழக்கப்படுத்தியதற்காக—

Surah Quraysh, verse 2

إِۦلَـٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ ٱلشِّتَآءِ وَٱلصَّيْفِ
குளிர்காலத்திலும், கோடைகாலத்திலும் அவர்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக வியாபாரப் பயணம் செய்வதற்காக—

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ
இந்த புனித ஆலயத்தின் இறைவனை அவர்கள் வணங்கட்டும்.

ٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَءَامَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍۭ
அவர்களுக்குப் பசிக்கு உணவளித்து, பயத்திலிருந்து அபயமளித்தவன்.
