Introduction

伝えられるところによると、多神教徒たちは、預言者（彼にアッラーの平安と祝福あれ）が一年間彼らの複数の神々を崇拝するならば、彼らも一年間アッラーのみを崇拝すると申し出た。そこで、このメッカ啓示のスーラが啓示され、預言者（彼にアッラーの平安と祝福あれ）は生涯の最期の一息までアッラーの崇拝のみに専念するであろうと彼らに告げた。このことは、次のスーラの主題でもある。 慈悲あまねく慈愛深きアッラーの御名において

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

アッラーへの崇拝に妥協は許されない。

1. 言え、「不信仰者たちよ！ 2. 私はあなたがたが崇拝するものを崇拝しない。 3. あなたがたも私が崇拝するものを崇拝しない。 4. 私はあなたが拝むものを決して拝まない。 5. あなたも私が拝むものを決して拝まない。 6. あなたにはあなたの道があり、私には私の道がある。
قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
٢
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
٣
وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ
٤
وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
٥
لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ

Surah Al-Kāfirūn, verse 1

قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
言え、「不信仰者たちよ！

Surah Al-Kāfirūn, verse 2

لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
私はあなたがたが崇拝するものを崇拝しない。

Surah Al-Kāfirūn, verse 3

وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
あなたがたも私が崇拝するものを崇拝しない。

Surah Al-Kāfirūn, verse 4

وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ
私はあなたが拝むものを決して拝まない。

Surah Al-Kāfirūn, verse 5

وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ
あなたも私が拝むものを決して拝まない。
