Al-Kâfirûn (Surah 109)
Al-Kāfirūn (The Disbelievers)
Introduction
It is reported that the pagans offered to worship Allah alone for one year, provided that the Prophet (ﷺ) worshipped their multiple gods for a year. So this Meccan sûrah was revealed, telling them that he (ﷺ) will be dedicated only to the worship of Allah until the last breath of his life, which is the highlight of the next sûrah. In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
No Compromise in Worshipping Allah
1. Say, (O Prophet,) “O you disbelievers! 2. I do not worship what you worship, 3. nor do you worship what I worship. 4. I will never worship what you worship, 5. nor will you ever worship what I worship. 6. You have your way, and I have my Way.”
