Allah ordered us to do good and avoid evil. On Judgment Day, our good deeds will take us to Jannah for obeying Allah. Those who do evil will pay the price for disobeying Him.

According to a fictional story, there was a king who had two servants. One day, he gave them both money and asked each of them to go to the store and fill up a cart only with food. They went together to the market. The first one filled up his cart with fruits, vegetables, bread, juice, chocolate, and water. The other one ignored the king's orders and said, ""Il just buy all the stuff I desire." So, he filled up his cart with clothes, shoes, belts, and toilet paper. When they both returned to the king, he ordered his guards, "Lock each of them up in a room for two weeks, and let each eat what he got from the store!" The first one had no problenm because he listened to the king. So, for two weeks, he was relaxing on a couch, enjoying all the amazing food he brought from the store. The second one freaked out when they put him in the room. He was left with nothing to eat except the new shoes and toilet paper. So, he ended up dying in a few days.

The lesson here is that we don't benefit Allah when we obey Him, and we don't harm Him when we disobey Him. We only benefit or harm ourselves.
