A REMINDER TO THE DENIERS
17May 'disbelieving humans be doomed!
How ungrateful they are to Allah'!
18From what thing did He create them?
19He created them from a human seed, and planned their growth.
20Then He makes things easy for them,
21then 'later' causes them to die and be buried.
22Then when He wants, He will bring them back to life.
23But no!
They have failed to follow His orders.
24Let people then think about their food:
25how We pour down lots of rain'
26and split the earth open 'for Sprouts',
27Causing grains to grow there,
28as well as grapes and greens,
29and olives and palm trees,
30and thick gardens,
31and fruit and grass
32'this is' all as Support for you and your animals.
THE SCARY DAY
33Then, when the Roaring Blast comes to pass
34on that Day every person Will run away from their own siblings,
35and 'even' their mother and father,
36and 'even' their spouse and children;
37everyone will only care about them-selves.
38On that Day 'some' faces Will be bright,
39laughing and excited, 40 while 'other' faces will be dusty,
41completely miserable -42.
those are the wicked disbelievers.
How to study Surah 'Abasa with children
Use this children's lesson as a guided path: read the short explanation, look at the Arabic verse, listen to related recitation, and return to the full surah when
your child is ready for more detail.
Parents can review one section at a time, ask the child to repeat the main idea, and then continue with the next part or a nearby surah.
This keeps the lesson connected with Quran reading, audio, and daily practice.
