everything that people do is recorded by angels.
bringing people back to life is as easy for allah as creating them the first time.
the last part of this surah is a warning to the idol-worshippers who treat the quran like a joke.
ALLAH'S POWER
1By the heaven and the night star! 2And What will make you realize what the night Star is? 3It is' a brilliant star: 4Every single person has a watching angel 'recording everything'. 5Let everyone then think about what they were created from! 6'They were' created from an ejected human seed, 7coming from between the backbone and the ribcage.' 8Surely He has the power to bring them back 'to life' 9on the Day all secrets will come to light. 10Then one will have no power or any helper.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلطَّارِقِ 1وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ 2ٱلنَّجۡمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ 3إِن كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظٞ 4فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ 5خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٖ دَافِقٖ 6يَخۡرُجُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِ ٱلصُّلۡبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ 7إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجۡعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٞ 8يَوۡمَ تُبۡلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ 9فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٖ وَلَا نَاصِرٖ10
Verse 9: This could mean a particular star or any bright star.
Verse 10: Testes and ovaries are formed in the abdomen of the fetus during the first weeks of pregnancy, before descending to their permanent place in the pelvis. Both are sustained by arteries originating between the backbone and the ribcage.
WORDS OF WISDOM
Those who deny life after death are asked to think about cycles in nature:.
How water turns into vapour, goes up in the sky, turns into clouds, comes down in the form of rain, then rainwater evaporates again.:.
How seeds sprout and plants split the earth, and become big trees pro- ducing seeds, then seeds go into the ground, then sprouts come out.:.
In the same way, Allah is able to bring people back to life just like He brings plants out of the earth and rain out of clouds.
WARNING TO IDOL-WORSHIPPERS
11By the sky with its repeated cycles? 12and the earth splitting open with plants! 13Surely this Quran' is a serious message. 14And it is not for fun. 15Yet Those 'idol-worshippers' are definitely making 'evil' plans, 16but I am planning too.' 17So 'O Prophet,' give the disbelievers some time. Let them be for just a little while.
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجۡعِ 11وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدۡعِ 12إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلٞ فَصۡلٞ 13وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلۡهَزۡلِ 14إِنَّهُمۡ يَكِيدُونَ كَيۡدٗا 15وَأَكِيدُ كَيۡدٗا 16فَمَهِّلِ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ رُوَيۡدَۢا17
Verse 16: Cycles that happen over and over again, like seasons, rain cy-cle, and so on.
Verse 17: The way Allah plans is tomake their evil plans fail or backfire onthem
